5 Tips For Personal Branding and Marketing

Personal Branding

Do you still battle with getting a laser targeted audience of prospects? You feel you have taken action exactly the way you were told to by your upline. However, you still are not seeing results from your hard work.

You probably have heard the word “branding” many times if you have been in the marketing industry for some time. It’s become one of the most common subjects in entrepreneurship — and for good reason.

Personal branding is the practice of people marketing themselves and their company as the brand. While previous self-help management techniques were about self-improvement, the personal branding concept suggests instead that success comes from self-packaging.

Think about some of the biggest brands’ public images. McDonald’s, for instance, has built a brand around fast-food convenience, variety of products, quality ingredients and kid-friendly enticing consumers who live a busy lifestyle.

You’ll see examples of those branding factors and everything that McDonald’s, from roadside signage and on television to its social media profiles.

That’s exactly the approach you need to take when creating a personal brand. You might not have roadside signage or run television commercials, but you have to think about how your personal brand is represented when you communicate with your audience online.

Are you getting a clearer picture of how Branding you can help you become a credible authority in your online Presence?

5 Tips to get started:

  • Marketing YOU rather than the company you sell products or services for is in your best interest. Establishing YOU as a Brand helps you become a credible authority. Do you have a vision of who YOU want to be?

  • Your biggest obstacle is mindset. Never be in the place where you are convinced you have made it. There is always more to come.
  • Next, celebrate your wins! You don’t have to be an expert, just be the Best YOU.
  • Personal Branding allows YOU to be unique and stand out by taking one idea take makes you different. Add some humor in your posts. Be clear and concise and keep it simple. You will surely dominate.

So how do you get started?

Check out this blog post to help you get started from scratch. By building your Personal Brand, your audience can get to know you, not the company you represent. Most people would rather buy from people that they know, like and trust.

It’s also important to share the benefits of your products or service without mentioning the company name. Plant a seed of curiosity in your prospects mind. This will likely have them reach out to you to find out what you have to offer. Bang, open door!

Become an Instant Authority!

So now that you have your Personal Brand all set up you are ready to become an Instant Authority! By using the Instant Authority Method.

This SIMPLE method will make you become an expert in the eyes of your prospects.

Six Savvy Ways To Market Your Website

Savvy Website

Six Savvy Ways To Market Your Website

You want your company’s website to reach out to as many people as possible. Its primary purpose is to be a virtual advertisement that teaches visitors more about what the brand has available. If you aren’t marketing your website correctly, no one is seeing your content. And that means your website isn’t doing its job. Let’s discuss six savvy things that you can do to help market your website and boost the number of visitors you receive.

[bctt tweet=”Doing It Right: Six Fundamental Ways To Do Website Marketing” username=”sandsonlinevent”]

Search Engine Optimization:

This is the process of increasing the visibility of your website in search engine results. By optimizing keyword phrases, you can help rank your link to the top of search engine result pages such as Google or Bing. Since most people do not go beyond the first page of their search results, being at the top really matters when it comes to SEO.

There are several ways you can improve your website’s SEO. You can improve your existing content to include more keyword phrases. Add a blog to add fresh content to your site, and increase the number of backlinks or inbound links that are on your webpage. Inbound links are links that your website receives from other websites. They help to improve your online reputation.

Blogging:

The second thing on our list is blogging. Having a company blog on your website will provide you with a place to inform your target audience of everything new. And keeping consistent content on your page will help keep visitors coming back for more. The wonderful thing about blogging is that your content doesn’t always have to be about the company. It can be about something distantly related to your brand that is popular or trending right now.

PPC or Pay-Per-Click:

This is an online marketing strategy that’s been around for years, yet it’s still very effective. PPC advertising can bring in traffic to your site from search engines. You pay a fixed price for every click your ad receives. The goal is to convert the visitor to see a return on your investment.

Google Adwords uses PPC and allows you to set a budget (such as five dollars a day or a maximum of ten cents per click). You choose the keyword phrases and Google helps you get your company’s ad in front of your target audience, no matter where they may be on the web.

Facebook Ads:

On average, more than 483 million people use Facebook every day. That’s great news for companies who wish to advertise on the social media giant. Facebook ads can help you direct your ads to members of your target audience. You can choose your ads to show to people in a certain location, age demographic, or fans of other similar companies to your own. It’s a great, affordable way to bring new traffic to your website.

Retargeting Ads:

This is a method where you place a tracking cookie on your visitor’s computer. When they leave your website, they will see ads from your company, allowing them to click and come back if there were something they missed. This advertising method can help you reach visitors who leave without making a purchase, which can often be around 98% of your total visitors.

If you’ve spent any time online you’ve seen retargeting ads yourself. You may visit an online store, looking for an item to buy and then leave the website. A few minutes later while on Facebook, an ad shows up on your wall for the exact store or the exact item you were looking for. This keeps your company or the item the visitor wants, fresh in their minds. And that will increase the chances of the visitor coming back to buy the product.

YouTube:

Creating a video about your company and posting it on YouTube can help expose your brand to others in a creative and convenient way. Google will index the content and others can embed your video on their blogs to share on social media. While not everyone has a video to go viral, you can still use YouTube as a resourceful tool to help get your name out there.

YouTube also gives you the option to advertise on other videos by purchasing targeting ads which are relevant to your business. If you sell athletic apparel for example, you could purchase a targeted ad for a video featuring sports news. People interested in athletics viewing the news video will see your ad and will be more inclined to purchase something from you than someone in another demographic.

How to Use Classified Ads to Get More Sales

Use Classified Ads to Get More Sales

Are you using Classified Ads in your business marketing plan? Read on and you will see the value of using this strategy in your business model starting today…..How to Use Classified Ads to Get More Sales

From e-commerce websites to furniture wholesalers, small businesses are discovering the marketing capability of posting classified ads. Using Classified Ads to build or boost your business can be a big game changer. Now, let’s explore How to Use Classified Ads to Get More Sales.

Classified ad posting still works! Thousands of potential buyers scour the online classified ads each day for products and services. You definitely want to have your ads listed with as many classified ads sites as possible.

I highly recommend Backpage.com that provides many options and new features easily automated. Grab the Free report below packed full of details,”11 Proven Techniques for Getting More Sales From Classified Ads”.

classified ads

If you provide a service, sell wholesale or resale products, classified ads is a great tool to add to your marketing arsenal.  Users that visit classified ad sites know they will find what they are looking for, so they don’t get stuck sifting through ads that are not related to their needs.

Posting on Craigslist or some of the other similar sites does require that you follow their rules.  Many of these sites have some general policies as well as specific ones that vary based on the category of your ad.  Failure to follow these will cause your ad to be flagged and removed from view. And face it. It can be tedious to keep up with all the rules and policies.

If you’ve never considered using Classified Ads for marketing, this information may help you decide.

  • Identify Your Market for Your Classified Ad

The first thing you’ll need to do is determine where you want your ads to be posted. Depending on your niche, select the best option where prospects would be searching for what you have to offer.

When you select a State, you will be given a list of all the different sites that are in that State.

For example, if you select Florida you will see a list that includes Orlando and Tallahassee but also shows the Treasure Coast, North Central FL, and South Florida with a notation that this option includes separate sections for Miami/Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

From there you can determine which area or areas you want to target.

  • Build Your Ad

Once you’ve found your target areas, you want to develop a posting schedule for each one and create ads that are area specific.

Once upon a time, creating classified ads required HTML and CSS coding that you needed to build from scratch that coordinated with your Branding. With Backpage.com  the site decided it wanted to focus on keeping a user-friendly option for everyone, not just the tech savvy or paid post designers.

Fortunately, the design of the basic ad layout make setting up an ad fast and simple.  This is a huge advantage if you are selling a product. And marketers are seeing big results. As a professional you want to make sure your ad looks as polished as possible.

[bctt tweet=”Use Classified Ads, Get More Sales! http://www.donnasands.net/b2c0″ username=”sandsonlinevent”]

Here are some easy ways to make sure you look like a business and not someone trying to scam your product or service:

  • Use High-Quality Photos in Your Classified Ads

This does not mean hiring a photographer or investing in a good camera.  Using your iPhone is a great start when your are new. The quality of photos continue to improve in newer phones. Definitely take the time to ensure your photos are well lit and most importantly, STRAIGHT.

If you choose to take the photos yourself, it would be a good idea to have access to photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop, or creating an account with one of the online photo editors like PicMonkey.com, Canva.com or Pexel.com.

  • Try to Use Headers and Bulleted or Numbered Lists

The use of headers, bullets or numbered lists makes the ad easier to read. This will make your content stand out and less likely to be skipped. These features also help to utilize an interrupt pattern and keep the reader interested.

Since there isn’t a text editor available for posts, you can make headers stand out by capitalizing each word. Or making them all caps.  To create a bullet list, you’ll need to use a symbol. They are available on your keyboard like the asterisk found over the 8 or a dash.

classified ads

Now you know that a little about Backpage.com you get the idea that classified ads can bring in new traffic and leads, introducing you to clients spanning a wide variety of interests and businesses. Now you know How to Use Classified Ads to Get More Sales and boost your business.

5 Social Media Advertising Techniques to Adopt

Online advertising spending has surpassed spending on television advertising. While Pay Per Click advertising is a big chunk of this spending, social media advertising is becoming just as important. There are a variety Advertising Techniques that are very effective in generating more leads that result in sales.

If you’re not already using social media ads to gain new followers or more prospects, then there are a few advertising techniques that you should adopt. Advertising Techniques

Use Ads to Highlight Non-Sales Efforts

You don’t need to use social media ads to direct users to your various landing pages. There’s more that you can do, such as highlighting non-sales efforts. For example, you can use ads to let consumers know about your charitable efforts or upcoming events. Click Here to see a schedule of free events, that will introduce you to building your own Home Business. These events are held worldwide with several locations and times available to meet your schedule

Many of the biggest corporations employ this method, but it can be just as effective for your own personal brand. You’re able to highlight details that allow people to connect with your brand on a personable level.

Use Ads to Encourage Participation

Another option is to use ads to encourage participation. You could use this to learn more about your target market. Learn more about their interests by using an ad to direct visitors to an online poll or survey.

One option that’s been used quite effectively by various brands lately is to simply ask a question in your ad and direct users to comment on a specific post. This spurs conversation, all of which revolves around your brand, helping you gain new followers.

Use Sponsored Posts to Gain New Followers

Most social media networks have their own form of sponsored posts. These are essentially paid ads, in the form of a social media post. This lets you instantly reach more social media users, increasing your chances of gaining followers.

Sponsored posts can be combined with the other techniques. You can use sponsored posts for your online polls or highlight your achievements. The idea is to gain more attention than you might with other forms of paid advertisements.

[bctt tweet=”Make social media a priority, if you want to grow your sales potential.” username=”sandsonlinevent”]

Use Targeted Social Media Advertisements

With any social media ad, you can target specific regions, areas, or demographics. Use this to narrow down the focus of some of your advertisements. Consider a form of niche marketing.

When you target a smaller market, you’re likely to face less competition. You can also alter your ads for different regions. This easiest with Facebook targeted ads. Need help with Facebook Ad creation? I highly recommend this course from my friend Michelle that really helped me with creating ads. Click Here to take a look.

Facebook provides numerous options for targeted ads. For example, you can target Facebook users that have a specific interest or hobby. You can also target users based on their age range or geographic location.

When using Facebook ads, another option is to exclude visitors to your website. If you decide that you want to focus solely on people that haven’t visited your site or know about your brand, this is a great option. You can even alter this to include retargeting.

With retargeting, you’ve got the option to only display ads to users that have previously visited your website. You can even set the time since they last visited your site. This helps increase overall engagement. Click Here for a great step by step instructions for setting up retargeting pixels.

Use a Combination of Marketing and Ads

You can’t just rely on paid ads. You also need to stick to your existing marketing strategy. Continue to post on a regular basis. Don’t count your sponsored ads or paid ads as another post on your regular schedule.

You want to continue growing followers and engaging with your audience. Use paid ads as a supplemental technique to boost your social media presence. All of this is geared towards increasing your overall online presence and helping you grow your brand.

Start thinking outside the box. Don’t just use social media ads to direct visitors to a landing page. 5 Ways to Revitalize Your Social Media Marketing Strategy

The marketing landscape is constantly changing and evolving. If you want to get noticed, you need to employ multiple tools and resources in your marketing strategy with these 5 Ways to Revitalize Your Social Media Marketing Strategy. You need to Stand Out in the marketplace to make a difference.

There’s plenty of advice on how to boost your social media marketing. Though, it’s not uncommon for your marketing strategy to grow stale. You might notice positive results after you start your marketing campaign, only for it to die off.5 Way to Revitalize

The following 5 solutions will help you revitalize your social media marketing strategy. You don’t need to scrap your campaign and start over. Just remember these 5 Ways.

Become More Social on Social Media

It’s easy to use a mechanical approach to marketing. You’ve got a schedule and you stick to it. You’re consistent and reliable. But, you need to be personable when sharing content on social media.

Don’t use the same phrases and wording in every post. When you introduce curated content, don’t use the default message. Create something original. Remember, every person is different. Some may interpret your message one way and another person in a completely different way. You don’t want to sound like you’ve read the content that you’re sharing.

Being more social also means interacting with your followers. Don’t be afraid to ask a question or encourage feedback from your followers. Thank them for their input and get a conversation going. This will make your brand feel more approachable.

Let Your Followers Know What You Care About

If you’ve got a cause that you’re actively involved in or care about, let people know. This also helps humanize your brand. But, don’t promote a cause simply for the marketing appeal. It’s easy to detect phony compassion.

Use Video in Your Marketing Strategy

People like watching videos. This is especially true with the rise in mobile device usage. When people are on the go, it’s easier to watch a video than read an article. So, if you want to get noticed, record more videos.

If you’re having trouble coming up with content for your videos, simply look at your most popular blog posts. Convert these posts into individual videos. Rewrite the content into a script and record your voice. Add this to a slideshow or a live presentation and post it to social media.

Become the Top Curator of Content in Your Niche

The next step is to focus more on curated content. About 80% of the content that you share should come from other sources. This shows your followers that you care. It helps build a relationship with your followers.

Sharing curated content also allows you to have a continuous flow of content. If you’re relying on your own original content, it’s hard to have something new to post every day of the work week.

Browse the top news sites in your niche market or industry. Use multiple sources and find beneficial content that you believe your followers will appreciate. This should comprise the largest portion of your social media marketing.

Actively Listen to What Your Followers Are Saying

The final tip for revitalizing your social media marketing is to actively listen. Listen to what your followers are saying. Learn from their comments. You can gain valuable insight into the type of content that they enjoy based on what they say and what they share.

If no one is saying anything, then you’re not sharing the right content. Or, you’re not actively engaging your audience. Review your content, add more curated content from other sources, and talk to your followers. If this doesn’t spur more input, then you need to rethink your market.

If you’re ready to breathe new life into your social media marketing, start using these tips. For even more powerful marketing tips, as well as a way to generate conversion-ready Internet marketing prospects each month, click here to learn about my done-for-you system.

How to Properly Use Hashtags In Social Media Marketing

When I first starting hearing and seeing Hashtags being used, I had no idea what they where, what they do for you, literally anything about them. So I checked it out to see what all the buzz was about on social media sites such as Twitter. And I found that a word or phrase preceded by a hash or pound sign (#) and used to identify messages on a specific topic attracted people to take a look at your post.social media hashtags

Hashtags are useful for helping people discover your social media posts. Twitter was one of the first social networking sites to make good use of hashtags. But, they’re now an important part of all social networking sites, including Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

While hashtags are useful, they can also have a negative impact on your marketing efforts. You need to be careful with how you use hashtags in your posts. So, with that in mind, you should learn how to properly use hashtags for social media marketing.

The Basics of Hashtags for Social Media

First, let’s make sure you understand what a hashtag is and isn’t. You can think of hashtags as keywords. That’s a hashtag in a nutshell. It’s a keyword or keyword phrase without any spaces and it includes the pound sign at the beginning of the phrase.

The reason that you should use hashtags is that they’re used by social media search engines. When a user performs a search, the site finds relevant posts based on hashtags. And, hashtags are now used by almost every major social media site, including:

    • Facebook
    • Twitter
    • Instagram
    • Google Plus
    • Pinterest
    • Tumblr
    • Flickr

So, you know the basics. Next, find out how to properly include hashtags in your posts.

The Correct Way to Use Hashtags

If you can remember what hashtags are used for, it should be easy to use them properly. Here’s a quick look at the correct use of hashtags:

    • Use up to 3 hashtags per post
    • Make sure they’re relevant to your post
    • Use local terms to increase local marketing

Generally, you’ll only use 2 or 3 hashtags per post. Adding too many hashtags shows that your posts don’t have a clear focus. Instagram is an exception to this rule. For example, Instagram posts with the highest engagement typically have 4 or 5 hashtags.

When choosing hashtags, make sure that they’re relevant to your post. Don’t include a hashtag simply because you think it’ll attract more users. You can take a look at trending hashtags to find examples, but don’t add them to your post unless they actually make sense in your post.

You can also use local terms to help increase local marketing. For example, when posting about an event, you can include the name of the city where the event will take place. The same applies to posts about local businesses.

The Incorrect Way to Use Hashtags

It’ll also help to learn the incorrect way to use hashtags. These are methods that you should avoid:

    • Using too many hashtags
    • Including hashtags in your message
    • Using the same hashtags every time

Remember, don’t use too many hashtags. Unless you’re using Instagram, you should only use up to 3 hashtags. Otherwise, they’re no longer helpful.

Also, don’t include hashtags in your message. Don’t use them to replace words. This makes it hard to read your message. For example, you wouldn’t say, “check out our latest #SEO #service.” Place them at the end of the message.

The final tip is to avoid using the same hashtags every time. Mix it up. Using the same hashtags will only help you continue to attract the same people. Do you use the same keywords on every single page of your website? No. So, use a variety of relevant hashtags to appeal to more people.

Here is a free site you can see what the trending Hashtags are each day. Again, make sure they are relevant to your post. Check it out!

As long as you follow these tips, hashtags should help you gain more followers and improve your social media marketing. Tips for Triggering an Emotional Reaction

The use of emotion in marketing goes back hundreds of years. Though, in the past hundred years, triggering an emotional reaction has become a science. Businesses have spent millions of dollars trying to learn which phrases, colors, layouts, images, and words are most likely to connect with people.emotional reaction

You don’t need to spend millions to gain these same benefits. You can learn from the research that’s already been performed.

There are 4 Primary Emotions

Science tells that there are 4 primary emotions that human beings are capable of. Though, these can be combined in various ways to create a large array of emotions. With that being said, it becomes easier to include emotional triggers in your sales copy when you focus on the 4 basic emotions:

    • Fear
    • Anger
    • Happiness
    • Sadness

Triggering Fear

Fear and surprise are used to spur action. For example, insurance companies promote the fear of not having insurance when tragedy strikes. Fear is commonly used on landing pages and in sales copy.

When writing your copy, the first section of your content should address a common fear or issue that your customers may experience. You want to start by bringing up the benefit that your product or service will resolve. Discuss the issues that your customers face, before making a pitch.

Triggering Anger

Anger is often used in a similar manner as fear. It also helps encourage people to take action. You can see this in commercials for the humane society, relief efforts, and charitable organizations that help abused pets or children. Anger then spurs people to take action.

Anger can be used in your sales copy, using a similar approach as with fear. If the pain that your customers face are likely to cause anger, then use that to your benefit. For example, “don’t you hate it when” or “isn’t it irritating when this happens”.

Triggering Happiness

When should you trigger happiness in your copy? When you want people to share your content with their friends and family. This helps generate word of mouth advertising.

The next time a commercial break comes on the television, pay attention to the commercials. You’ll definitely see plenty of examples of happiness being used as a primary motivator.

How can you make people happy with your content? By offering them relief to their pain. After you have brought up concerns in order to elicit fear or anger, you can turn the tables by discussing the benefits of your product or service. Offer customers a solution to the problems that you brought up.

Triggering Sadness

Sadness impacts the same region of the brain that is triggered by happiness. This is used to make an emotional connection with customers. They’ll feel a bond with the business.

Sadness can be difficult to work into your sales copy. But, it can be used. If you have a story that you want to tell, such as an inspirational story of what led you to start your business, you can include this in your copy.

Delivering an inspirational, motivational, or uplifting example of how you’ve transformed your life helps build the same bond that you get by triggering sadness.

While there is more to the emotion wheel than just fear, anger, happiness, and sadness, these are the four basic emotions that you should focus on. Look at other sales pitches that you see online. You’ll notice at least two of these emotions being used in almost every product landing page that you visit.

Emotion is an important part of marketing. Even if you don’t realize it, you’ve probably used emotion in your content in some form. In addition to emotion, there are many ways to increase your success. Find even more powerful marketing tips and conversion-ready prospects. Just click here to learn about my done-for-you system.

Discover Internet Marketing, be Successful

Several years ago I was fortunate enough to Discover Internet Marketing through some good friends that had been making a good living, working from home and truly enjoying life. I was so intrigued by this concept and started internet marketingdigging into learning as much as I could. You see, I was concerned about securing my future financially. To have the ability to work from anywhere, be my own boss, have my freedom and time to spend with friends and family doing the thing I love doing, sounded to good to be true. Here is a book the helped me tremendously to discover inter marketing: The Business of the 21st Century

I realized that the world was moving more and more towards the internet and this technology was definitely the way to a secure future. So I started slowly using all the strategies I had learned and discovered about internet marketing. As my venture began, I was posted information on my social media outlets spreading the word on how to earn money working from home. Very soon, friends and family started questioning me what is all that about that you are posting, although I had tried to explain to them what I was working on, the concept just did not resonate with them. As I am much further in my venture now and have myself pulled all the pieces together, I wanted to help others understand the potential anyone and everyone has at their fingertips. So let’s discover internet marketing together! Often you will hear the terms, Internet Marketing, Online Marketing or Network Marketing. Essentially, all these terms are somewhat similar.

Internet Marketing can consists of a lot different strategies. Blogging, Social Media advertising, email advertising, website branding YOU, coaching, mentoring and training others, affiliate marketing (selling training material or products), video marketing, conducting webinars, sharing on stage at conventions and many others. Branding yourself means establishing YOU as an authority that earns respect by utilizing most of the strategies listed above.

Online Marketing while many of the same strategies are utilized, are marketing online more than in person or in front of a group or people.

Networking Marketing primarily are marketers promoting a companies product or services. Many of these are great products or services and compensation is received by sales volume and the number of other people they recruit to sell under them. Network marketing comes with some risk of the company closing down or make changes to the compensation plan. Marketing is normally conducted online or offline using the companies brand with materials provided by the company. Use cautious with some of these advertisements, as some of them can be a scam.

I my overall review in educating myself on the Internet Marketing industry and coaching that I have taken part in the best assessment that is working well for me is Branding myself and teaching others all I have learned to take the leap into securing their future. That’s the path I have chosen to follow, coaching and selling the best affiliate training products. After having been in two network marketing companies that ran into business problems, I no longer sell products or other services. That’s not to say I would never go that direction in the future, for right now, I love sharing all I have learned. I am fortunate, after all my research, I have aligned myself with great marketing tools and mentors. So since I have done the research and work with the best, be assured I can help you.
