How to Create Your Personal Brand

How to Create Your Personal Brand

Create Your Personal Brand

Have you ever heard Create Your Personal Brand to be successful in the Marketing Business? So what does this mean and how do you Create Your Personal Brand?

Building a personal brand means providing so much value in one (or multiple) niche(s) that people begin to associate your name with the idea of what it means to be successful in that industry.

Creating your Personal Brand allows you to invite people to know, like and trust you. What this means, is by sharing your mission, core values and vision with them they will respect you as an authority and follow your training and offers.

There are a few key points to consider when getting started to Create your personal brand:

  • Determine your focus and personality
  • Choose a brand name. This can be your own name or catchy business name.
  • Decide on a tagline or slogan that best represents what you stand for.
  • Choose colors and fonts for your Brand.
  • Perhaps create a logo, not absolutely necessary if your just getting started.
  • Use a good photo of yourself, smiling and looking directly into the camera.
  • Create a banner or image to share across all platforms you intend to promote your brand.

Your overall goal should be to get your Brand and all the items listed above seen by the masses. By seeing your face, tagline and staying congruent on all platforms, this will help you grow your Brand quickly.

How You Can Be More Productive In Your Business

Want to Learn How You Can Be More Productive In Your Business?

Be More Productive In Your BusinessIt is a scientific proven fact that when you work in “chunks” or blocks of time…… you will be more productive in your business and get more done during those blocks. Keeping your mind focused on one task at a time will ensure better quality content and a faster ability to create the content. Set your mind to Be More Productive In Your Business and achieve your goals.

Now How Can You Be More Productive In Your Business and Get More Things Accomplished?

Here is what I have recently started doing and highly recommend you give it a try. This method has greatly increased my productivity and quality of content.

  • Decide on a length of time you want your “productivity blocks” to be. I suggest a “productivity block” to be at least 30 minutes and less than 1 hour. I have found personally, that about 40 minute blocks work the best (try a few different lengths to see how long you want your productivity block to be.)
  • Important: during this productivity block you should be free from ALL distractions.

That means you should refrain contact with the list below…

  • Close down Facebook or other Social Media
  • NO reading or responding to emails
  • Turn off the TV or other such distractions
  • Don’t check your cell phone to see messages, texts, etc.
  • Ask family or kids to respect your quiet time; no talking to you

Since all of us are very different and some may be able to tolerate and even block out some distractions, others may not be able to.  A recommended app to install on your computer may help you greatly by filtering out distraction and noise. It plays different types of sounds/music that will filter out distracting noise and help to keep you focused. Give it a try…….It’s called

Now it’s time to get to work!

Do your best to remain laser focused on whatever you’re working on during this productivity block. Remember: the block is only 40 minutes or so.

So it’s not like you’re sitting at your desk for the next several hours.

[bctt tweet=”Work in Productivity Blocks to get more Accomplished!” username=”sandsonlinevent”]

Your goal is to be as productive as possible… a productivity burst… within the relatively small time allocated to productivity block.

Then when the Productivity block is over…

⊗ ~ STOP what you’re working on and TAKE A BREAK!

FYI – the breaks are the key element to the success of your productivity blocks.

Here’s how the breaks should work…

Choose a length of time between 5-10 minutes for your break.

During your break you should get up/get away from your computer and/or work space.

Get a snack, go to the bathroom, go outside for a few minutes.

Maybe do a bit of exercise (push ups, squats, or even some stretching is great).

Whatever you do make sure you are physically walking away from your computer and taking a complete break from doing any work.

Be More Productive In Your Business

This means…

Don’t check emails
No need look in your back office
Do NOT go to Facebook to see if anyone clicked “like” on your recent status update.

All of these activities can wait until later!!

Unless it’s a family emergency, there is no email so important that you need to read it during your break.

So what I’m saying is… I truly want you to give yourself a real, honest to goodness, break.

Because as soon as your break is over…

… you get right back to work in another productivity block!

You are ready to pick up right where you left off and get back to work for another 40 minutes or so (or however long your productivity block is).

Not sure this will work for you? ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Try this strategy for 1 week (productivity block > break > productivity block > break) and see if you’re more productive.

Bet you will surprise yourself and actually get a lot more accomplished during this week.

I seriously would like to know your thoughts on this and if it helped you become more productive within your business. I know if has helped me tremendously and I must give credit to Bill Pescosolido for sharing these tips and helping me become more productive. Tips for Triggering an Emotional Reaction

The use of emotion in marketing goes back hundreds of years. Though, in the past hundred years, triggering an emotional reaction has become a science. Businesses have spent millions of dollars trying to learn which phrases, colors, layouts, images, and words are most likely to connect with people.emotional reaction

You don’t need to spend millions to gain these same benefits. You can learn from the research that’s already been performed.

There are 4 Primary Emotions

Science tells that there are 4 primary emotions that human beings are capable of. Though, these can be combined in various ways to create a large array of emotions. With that being said, it becomes easier to include emotional triggers in your sales copy when you focus on the 4 basic emotions:

    • Fear
    • Anger
    • Happiness
    • Sadness

Triggering Fear

Fear and surprise are used to spur action. For example, insurance companies promote the fear of not having insurance when tragedy strikes. Fear is commonly used on landing pages and in sales copy.

When writing your copy, the first section of your content should address a common fear or issue that your customers may experience. You want to start by bringing up the benefit that your product or service will resolve. Discuss the issues that your customers face, before making a pitch.

Triggering Anger

Anger is often used in a similar manner as fear. It also helps encourage people to take action. You can see this in commercials for the humane society, relief efforts, and charitable organizations that help abused pets or children. Anger then spurs people to take action.

Anger can be used in your sales copy, using a similar approach as with fear. If the pain that your customers face are likely to cause anger, then use that to your benefit. For example, “don’t you hate it when” or “isn’t it irritating when this happens”.

Triggering Happiness

When should you trigger happiness in your copy? When you want people to share your content with their friends and family. This helps generate word of mouth advertising.

The next time a commercial break comes on the television, pay attention to the commercials. You’ll definitely see plenty of examples of happiness being used as a primary motivator.

How can you make people happy with your content? By offering them relief to their pain. After you have brought up concerns in order to elicit fear or anger, you can turn the tables by discussing the benefits of your product or service. Offer customers a solution to the problems that you brought up.

Triggering Sadness

Sadness impacts the same region of the brain that is triggered by happiness. This is used to make an emotional connection with customers. They’ll feel a bond with the business.

Sadness can be difficult to work into your sales copy. But, it can be used. If you have a story that you want to tell, such as an inspirational story of what led you to start your business, you can include this in your copy.

Delivering an inspirational, motivational, or uplifting example of how you’ve transformed your life helps build the same bond that you get by triggering sadness.

While there is more to the emotion wheel than just fear, anger, happiness, and sadness, these are the four basic emotions that you should focus on. Look at other sales pitches that you see online. You’ll notice at least two of these emotions being used in almost every product landing page that you visit.

Emotion is an important part of marketing. Even if you don’t realize it, you’ve probably used emotion in your content in some form. In addition to emotion, there are many ways to increase your success. Find even more powerful marketing tips and conversion-ready prospects. Just click here to learn about my done-for-you system.
